Swedish Teen Girl Kidnapped, Gang Raped and Tortured in Basement by Migrants

An immigrant gang that kidnapped a 14-year-old girl, held her captive and tortured her has now been sentenced. However, one of the men – a 26-year-old African – is acquitted of aggravated rape of the girl.

The girl was kidnapped on February 15 from the commuter train station in Vega in Haninge municipality. She was rescued on February 17, when the police raided an address in Skogås, south of Stockholm, where the 14-year-old was kept locked up in a basement.

The immigrant gang demanded that the girl – who was said to have a debt to one of the men – give them money or drugs. Otherwise, they would hurt or kill her family.

While in the basement, the girl was tied to an element at the wrists and ankles. The men pulled the 14-year-old by her hair, punched and kicked her repeatedly to the head and body, grabbed her by the throat, put her on the floor and dragged her towards the basement floor. They also broke off her false nails.

They also forced her to urinate on the floor and then dunked her in the urine, explaining that they would become the 14-year-old’s pimps and that she would have to sell her body to settle the debt.

On the night of February 16, she was taken to an address in Haninge where, according to the prosecutor, she was raped by a 26-year-old African, under threat with a gun-like object.

Today the verdict came in the district court.

A 20-year-old citizen of Chile is sentenced to five years in prison for kidnapping and attempted extortion. He is allowed to stay in Sweden because the prosecutor had not requested deportation.

A 26-year-old, who received Swedish citizenship and therefore cannot be deported under current legislation, receives four years in prison for kidnapping.

The 26-year-old African accused of aggravated rape is acquitted of the crime for lack of evidence.

In addition to this, a 16-year-old boy is sentenced to youth service for aiding and abetting kidnapping. Furthermore, a 19-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman are sentenced for failure to disclose illegal deprivation of liberty.
