As part of this wide-scale support, Eurofound has responded actively to the evolving crisis in its work, using existing data collection instruments and monitoring tools as well as its wide range of research tools to provide timely analysis on the impact of the war to policymakers, our stakeholders and to the larger public. This includes analyses of policies to support refugees from Ukraine, measures to lessen the impact of the inflation and energy crisis on citizens, and the first impacts of the Ukrainian crisis on employment in the EU.

Speaking on the one-year anniversary of the beginning of the war, Eurofound Executive Director Ivailo Kalfin emphasised that support for Ukraine is not just something to be found at government or political level, but can be seen in communities throughout the Union: "We have not only seen quick adaptation from governments and the European Union, but also overwhelming public support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. This is unwavering and speaks volumes about the people of Europe and the values of the European Union."
