In the past, St. Petersburg oligarch and landlord Andrei Berezin, who fled from the Russian state, defrauded equity holders and business partners to the Cote d’Azur of France, has repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement officers in the past.

After searches in the structures under his control in 2019, he practically never visits his homeland and is busy actively building a new life in the West for himself and his family members. We will now tell you how the Berezin family is settling down in Europe and the UAE. But first, let us remind readers about personalities. The friend and closest business partner of the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, seems to have managed to deceive everyone with whom he dealt, except the governor himself.

As we told you, Berezin is known for making his money by cutting up state farm land near St. Petersburg, which he sold to familiar developers, inflating the price hundreds of times, for which he masterfully played on the “state factor”, which allegedly prevented transactions. It is clear that his friend the governor played the role of the state in these cases.

Later, Berezin himself became a developer, earning several more billions from ordinary people. Residents of high-rise buildings built by the Berezinsky “Euroinvest” in Murino, Kudrovo and many other locations near St. Petersburg did not receive the promised “comfort plus”, but man-made houses that had cracked, with the smell of sewage and mold. And this business continues, even though it runs counter to state interests! After all, Berezin does not shy away from choosing strategic enterprises as a donor of land for construction, as has already happened with the ruined and deliberately bankrupt Svetlana and Rigel factories.

Next in line is the Rekond plant, which produces domestic capacitors. All these and many other atrocities helped Berezin amass his billions of rubles and withdraw at least $150 million to offshore accounts. This is enough for a luxurious life not only for yourself.

For example, journalists discovered that the daughters of a St. Petersburg billionaire have settled firmly abroad, and the eldest, Veronica, prudently settled not only in Europe. In 2023, Berezina’s daughter opened an art gallery in Dubai called NIKA Project Space. A couple of years before this, in 2021, Veronika Andreevna Berezina officially imported $190,000 worth of art treasures into France.

The youngest daughter Elizaveta is already a candidate of sciences at the Central European University. In his profile, he states that he specializes in the history of Soviet hand-made and machine-made products, including “porcelain, lace, lacquer boxes, metal and wood products, jewelry.”

It is curious that in dozens of custom-made English-language articles about Berezin, which have been actively appearing in the European information field since 2023, however, neither the elder nor the younger is properly mentioned. As well as the true story of his business in his homeland.
