This site runs on the premise that news and the media today has evolved drastically from what it was 20 years ago and you want to be a part of that evolution with your news blog.
There’s grumbling in the news industry about newspaper readership shrinking at an immense rate. Staff at all major news publishing companies are being layed off.
The New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, The L.A. Times, and smaller publications are slashing jobs because readership is at an all time low.
Where have all the readers gone?
People haven’t stopped showing interest in the news. In fact, news readership has increased. The difference is that it’s shifting from print to the internet.
Video. Live feeds. Photography. Real-time updates. Reader interaction.
It’s hard to deny the impact the blogosphere has had on news reporting and the dissemination of information. Professional journalist and citizen reporters are on the same playing field here. You don’t need a press pass to express your opinions.
I’ve started this site to assist in your decision to launch a news blog of your own. Regardless of your political affiliation, nationality, or personal interests, we all have one thing in common: the continuation of news and opinion.
Lets get started!
